One More Time

Posted by Laura Kenyon on

Just a quick reminder about the Hilton Head Hook-In, next Fri and Sat, February 3 and 4.  We are going to have a grand time.  We are right on the beach, and if the weather is nice there are tables and chairs to hook outside.   Loud crowd where you can't concentrate but a chance to meet new friends and have conversations.

Door prizes of all kinds, from expensive to silly.  Searsport Rug Hooking will be there wilth all the cutters and frames and new bonnet stools, along with their lovely overdyed and off the bolt textures.  We will be there with our crazy colors and fun patterns to get the imagination a jump start.  We are bringing sari ribbon if you would like to try something new.

Amazing lunches from Kenny B's.  Seafood?  How about Jamabalaya with shrimp? He was telling me about how his Fried Chicken recipe includes honey..that did it for me.  And "Smitten Chicken" and "Voodoo Pasta". And Bananas Foster Bread pudding..Heck, I'd be there for the food even if I didn't hook.

Last day to register is Saturday since we need a count for Kenny.  We cannot take walk-ins since the security at Shipyard Plantation needs a guest list.  Don't procrastinate any longer!
