We are in the historic textile Mill at Shady Lea, Studio 107, 215 Shady Lea Road, North Kingstown, RI.  We're open from 10 til 2 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.  If you are travelling and these days don't work out, please call ahead.  We are likely in the studio and can meet you!!

 Studio Events  

We set aside the Second Saturday of each month for open hooking in the studio. We have sooo much fun. Just bring your stuff, settle in, and enjoy other fun folks.  Come for an hour, or two, or four!  

Studio Rug Hooking Classes

Open Studios at the Mill

Save the dates for our Summer Open Studios at the Mill at Shady Lea.  As many as 40 artist and artisan studios will be open with the artists offering their latest works for sale.  We will be displaying our finished rugs and fiber art, as well as mixed media and pottery as we collaborate with our studio mates, Donna Thompson and Glenn Stinson.

 

ATHA Region 1 Rug School South

April 7-10, 2026 

 The Publick House, Sturbridge, MA 

Laura Kenyon will be teaching at next year's ATHA Region 1 Rug School.  She will teach an open class allowing you to chose your own project and style.  She will guide you to achieve what you have in mind.

Cranberry Rug Hookers Rug Show
