We are in the historic textile Mill at Shady Lea, Studio 107, 215 Shady Lea Road, North Kingstown, RI. We're open from 10 til 2 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. If you are travelling and these days don't work out, please call ahead. We are likely in the studio and can meet you!!
Studio Events
We set aside the Second Saturday of each month for open hooking in the studio. We have sooo much fun. Just bring your stuff, settle in, and enjoy other fun folks. Come for an hour, or two, or four!
Studio Rug Hooking Classes

ATHA Region 1 Rug School South
April 7-10, 2026
The Publick House, Sturbridge, MA
Laura Kenyon will be teaching at next year's ATHA Region 1 Rug School. She will teach an open class allowing you to chose your own project and style. She will guide you to achieve what you have in mind. Contact Laura at Laura@rughookseaside.com for details or a registration form.
Cranberry Rug Hookers ATHA Chapter Rug Show

The Cranberry Guild rug hookers display all their wonderful works every 2 years. It is such special time! We will be vending along with several other suppliers. Hours are 10-3. The Rhode Island Hook-In

Knights of Columbus Hall, Cranston, RI
We will be vending at this first of many (fingers crossed) Spring get-togethers in Rhode Island. The event runs from 10 til 2:30. $35 entrance fee covers lunch, snacks, and giveaways. Vendors that are confirmed so far include Loop-by-Loop, Raven's Gate, and us. Limited to spots still available.

Open Studios at the Mill at Shady Lea
June 6 and 7, 2026
The Mill at Shady Lea, 215 Shady Lea Rd, North Kingstown, RI
Save the date! The artists and artisans of the Mill will open their studios again this summer. It's an opportunity to see what great art is being made here. This year there will be demonstrations by the artists and tours by local historians to highlight the history of the mill going back to the mid-1800's. Free admission, donations welcome for the North Kingstown Animal Shelter.
ATHA Quiet Corner Hook-In

Woodstock Fairgrounds, Woodstock, CT
The Quiet Corner ATHA Chapter is holding their annual hook-in at the fairgrounds (Route 169 and Route 171) from 9 til 3. Snacks and beverages are available all day. Bring your own lunch. We will be vending and joining in the laughter! There will be demos, an informal rug show (bring one or two of yours to show!) and a giant rug hooking raffle basket.
